Tell Obama: Go to Jerusalem

J Street is calling on President Obama to visit Jerusalem in the coming months with a new diplomatic initiative that leads to a two-state solution and averts a September UN vote that will cause even deeper international isolation for Israel without solving the conflict.

J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami and J Street Board Chair Davidi Gilo are in Israel this week to participate in a Knesset committee debate into whether J Street deserves to carry the tagline “pro-Israel.” [1] In advance of the committee hearing, J Street members are calling on Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu to treat the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement as allies.
