Daniel Kohl


From 2009 to 2012 Daniel Kohl worked as a senior member of J Street’s staff, overseeing JStreetPAC and its donor-related political advocacy efforts as Political Director and Vice President for Political Affairs. Dan is a current member of the JStreetPAC Board and the UW-Madison Hillel Board, and has also served on the Boards of the American Jewish Committee, the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Milwaukee Jewish Day School (as Chair), and Washington Hebrew Congregation. An experienced political fundraiser, Daniel served on the National Finance Committees of John Kerry, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, and he ran as a candidate for the Wisconsin State Assembly in September 2008.

Daniel Kohl is a Senior Advisor with BakerHostetler’s government practice group where he specializes in Sports/Entertainment, Health Policy, and Veterans issues. He also spent 14 years working for the Milwaukee Bucks NBA basketball team in a variety of management capacities, and served as the SEED Foundation’s Wisconsin Director of New Schools Development. Dan is a 1987 graduate of Brown University and holds a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s in history from UW-Milwaukee.
