Midwest Regional Director

Alison joins J Street after working at the Jewish Council on Urban Affairs in Chicago as the Director of Organizing. Prior to that, she served as Assistant Rabbi at Temple Chai in Long Grove, IL. During her time in rabbinical school, Alison trained as a community organizer on economic justice issues and became the Director of Faith Community Outreach for Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice. Alison decided early on she wanted to be a rabbi and weave together her commitment to Jewish life and her passion for creating meaningful change in the world. She has been a member of the Rabbinic Cabinet of J Street for several years and is excited to continue her work in the pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy community. Alison was ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion and received her B.A. at Smith College.
