J Street Statement on EU Court's Hamas Ruling

It's very disappointing that a procedural ruling has resulted in the possibility of Hamas being taken off the European Union's list of terror organizations. It should be a pretty open-and-shut case under any valid process to determine that Hamas is a terrorist organization. We appreciate the EU clarifying that this ruling does not represent a substantive change in their policy toward Hamas, and urge them to immediately take all due steps to ensure that Hamas remains designated as a terrorist organization. EU Should List Hezbollah As Terrorist Group

Following the Bulgarian Government's confirmation that Hezbollah was behind last July's attack on a tour bus which killed five Israeli tourists and their Bulgarian driver, J Street on Tuesday reiterated its call on European governments and the European Union to list Hezbollah as a terrorist group without delay.
