J Street is deeply dismayed by Prime Minister Netanyahu’s remarks Sunday in which he rejected both a full settlement freeze in the West Bank and limitations on Israeli expansion in disputed areas of Jerusalem. But some are telling the President to go slow and take a hands-off approach to negotiations, rather than taking the immediate action needed to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian and Israeli-Arab conflicts.  This Administration's first year is crucial to promoting peace in the region - and the President needs to know that he has strong support in Congress if he chooses a path of leadership and real action.
