J Street reiterates its strong condemnation of Iranian President Ahmadinejad's anti-Israel and anti-Semitic rhetoric and virulent Holocaust denial, as well as his regime's flagrant human rights violations and support for terrorist groups. J Street applauds President Obama's steadfast commitment to achieving a two-state solution, which he expressed in no uncertain terms this morning in his remarks to the UN General Assembly. We recognize that the road ahead will be difficult but, as the President made clear, there is no alternative to an active and sustained push for two states that secures Israel's future as the democratic homeland of the Jewish people and fulfills the legitimate aspirations of the Palestinian people.
