$50,000 in 24 Hours for Candidates with the Courage of Their Convictions

March 26th, 2010

When the news broke of a JStreetPAC-endorsed candidate cracking under pressure from fear-mongering attacks and renouncing our endorsement, JStreetPAC leapt into action. We started a campaign to raise funds for pro-Israel, pro-peace candidates who have the courage to stand by their convictions, setting what we thought was an ambitious goal of $15,000. But JStreetPAC supporters smashed our original goal of $15,000 in a matter of hours.  And then, we surpassed $50,000 in under 24 hours from when we launched the campaign! Click here to keep the momentum going - contribute to pro-Israel, pro-peace candidates with the courage of their convictions to stand for real peace and security for Israel and the Middle East. This is how we fight the fear-based political dynamic on Israel in this country - and show that real support exists from our community for  candidates willing to stand up for what they believe. 40,000 Actions in Support of the Obama Administration

March 16th, 2010

The pro-Israel, pro-peace movement is stepping up strong this week, sending over 40,000 messages to the White House and Congress in support of the Obama Administration's strong leadership in the Middle East. On Monday, J Street leadership delivered over 18,000 signatures to White House officials demonstrating that large numbers of pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans agree with the Vice President when he says "sometimes only a friend can deliver the hardest truth," and urging the Administration to turn this crisis into an opportunity for progress on two states. And now we're continuing to show Congress the deep support in our community for the Administration's leadership, sending over 25,000 messages to the Hill in the campaign's first few days. Click here to contact your representatives to voice your support for the Administration's strong stand and urge them to turn this crisis into an opportunity.
