Last week, Prime Minister Netanyahu postponed a vote on annexing a number of settlements into the Jerusalem municipality, a move which would have unilaterally redrawn the city’s map. Despite the postponement, Netanyahu has publicly backed the bill. As he fights for his political survival, he’s pandered to the settlement movement with major displays of support and massive infusions of funding.
