At Georgetown University in March, Salam Al-Marayati, Executive Director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and Jeremy Ben-Ami, Executive Director of J Street spoke on how Jewish American and Muslim Americans can promote peace.

On February 4, 2010, we marked the launch of J Street Local with 21 kickoff events around the country, including simulcast remarks from J Street Executive Director Jeremy Ben-Ami.

J Street hosted its first national conference in October 2009, bringing together over 1,500 pro-Israel, pro-peace activists from the US, Israel and the broader Middle East.
