J Street Condemns President Ahmadinejad’s Anti-Israel Remarks

J Street condemns the recent incendiary remarks at the United Nations by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. His denial of the Jewish people’s connection to the land of Israel and his suggestion of the “elimination” of Israel are outrageously offensive. Before he is granted the podium at the General Assembly, President Ahmadinejad should be reminded that his slurs contravene both the spirit and letter of that body’s Charter.
