Our candidate: Senator Claire McCaskill is running for a third term in the Senate from Missouri. She was first elected in a close 2006 race, winning the seat with 49.6% of the vote. Before being elected to the Senate, she was a prosecutor, Missouri state legislator, and Missouri State Auditor. McCaskill will face Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley in November in this state that President Trump won by 19 points in 2016.
