J Street’s Southwest region, encompassing Southern California, Texas, Arizona and New Mexico, boasts one of our strongest political operations. Across the region, J Street is proud to support both of New Mexico’s Senate delegates, Senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich. In Texas, JStreetPAC has longstanding relationships with Reps. Lloyd Doggett (TX-35), Al Green (TX-9) and Eddie Bernice Johnson (TX-30).

We are closely watching Rep. Beto O’Rourke (TX-16), who was a J Street endorsees as a House candidate, as he vies for a Senate seat in a tough 2018 race.

We are also proud to continue supporting J Street champion Rep. Raul Grijalva (AZ-3), co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

Our Los Angeles and San Diego chapters continue to be among the strongest and most active in the country, playing a vital role in supporting our relationships with our seven Southern California House endorsees. Looking ahead to 2018, Southern California will have several hotly contested House elections, with seven seats currently held by Republicans that Hillary Clinton won in the 2016 presidential election.
