J Street’s political operation in the Tri-state region is one of our strongest. The region is home to over 50,000 supporters across New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, as well as some of the most active chapters in the country.

Over the last few election cycles, J Street has proudly endorsed a number of New York’s Congressional Representatives, including Reps. Yvette Clarke, Jose Serrano and Nydia Velazquez. Beyond our strong presence in New York City and its surrounding suburbs, J Street continues to support longtime champions Reps. Paul Tonko and Louise Slaughter in New York State, as well as Reps. Donald Payne Jr and Bonnie Watson Coleman in neighboring New Jersey.

We have also grown our presence in Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Senator Chris Murphy, facing re-election in 2018, was recently endorsed by J Street, joining Connecticut’s Rep. Elizabeth Esty.
