Advocacy Day

We are happy to announce that this fall we will be hosting an in-person Advocacy Day that will take place Tuesday, October 17 on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC from 8:00am – 4:00pm. (Individual schedules will vary.) This year’s Advocacy Day is being held during a fly-in day (when Members return from the district to Washington, DC) for the House of Representatives, many House Members, especially those who must travel long distances to DC, will not be available for in-person meetings. For these cases, meetings will be held with senior staff. Senate meetings will proceed as normal.

If you would like to attend Advocacy Day, you must sign up (at no additional charge) when registering for the Summit.

Luggage Storage Information
Luggage storage will be available for those who wish to participate in Advocacy Day at a location near Capitol Hill and Congressional offices. More information will be provided to Advocacy Day participants via email.

Outbound Travel Information
If you are planning to participate in Advocacy Day, please make note of your outbound travel arrangements. Meetings on Capitol Hill can go until 4:00pm on Tuesday, October 17 and it takes approximately 1 hour to get to either BWI Airport or Dulles Airport from Capitol Hill via car and approximately 30 minutes to get to DCA from Capitol Hill via car.

COVID-19 Information

J Street is actively monitoring the current health situation as it relates to COVID-19. The health and safety of our attendees is our number one priority; to create as safe an environment as possible, the following protocols will be put in place at the J Street Leadership Summit:

  • All attendees will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and must show proof of vaccination at check-in. Fully vaccinated means you have received your final vaccine dose, including booster dose, at least two weeks prior to October 15, 2023.
  • J Street will follow mask guidance in place for Washington, DC, at the time the event takes place. More information on Washington, DC’s COVID-19 policies can be found here.

J Street appreciates all attendees’ cooperation in advance. Any changes or updates to these policies will be quickly and clearly communicated to all attendees. If you have any questions about J Street’s COVID-19 response or the Summit in general, please reach out to Brian Mandel at [email protected].
