J Street Board Member

Jill Chessen is a real estate agent with the Ron Sitrin Team of Long & Foster, bringing over 30 years of experience in the industry. She previously practiced real estate law for many years at Holland & Knight, as well as other firms in Washington, D.C., specializing in affordable and military housing.

Beyond real estate, Jill is deeply engaged in community service and education. She is the Co-Founder and an Executive Board Member of KID Museum in Montgomery County, Maryland, which she has helped lead since 2012. KID Museum is the largest youth maker space in the United States, dedicated to cultivating creativity, curiosity, and compassion to empower the next generation with the skills to invent the future.

Jill also serves as Co-Chair of the Social Action Committee at Adas Israel in Washington, D.C., overseeing nine committees focused on social justice. Additionally, she is a member of the Adas Israel Board of Directors. Previously, she spent eight years on the Executive Board of Sinai House, a nonprofit organization that provides housing for formerly homeless families.

Jill earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Northwestern University, where she also served as Co-Chair of the Northwestern University D.C. Leadership Board for several years. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law in 1992.
