Associate Director of Government Affairs

Ashley joins J Street with over five years of legislative and federal government experience. During her time on the Hill, Ashley worked as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Feinstein on the Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Control. She holds an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University’s Security Studies Program and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Louisville. As a graduate student, Ashley’s work focused on countering violent extremism in Western Europe and security threats in the Middle East. While at the University of Louisville, Ashley was awarded both the Critical Language Scholarship and the Boren Scholarship, enabling her to study Arabic and Hebrew in Jordan and Israel. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Ashley now resides in Washington, DC.
