Deputy Regional Director, Pennsylvania and New Jersey
Dan Siegel comes to J Street from the world of electoral politics and advocacy. Dan got his start in field work in 2010 when he served as first a field organizer for Connecticut Gubernatorial Candidate Ned Lamont, and later a Regional Field Director for now Senator Chris Coons. In 2011, Dan joined the Obama Reelection Campaign in served as Regional Field Director. Dan devised and implemented strategy for the Philadelphia suburbs, which Politico described as “the nation’s bellwether” and earned him a spot on PoliticsPa’s “30 under 30” list. In addition, he served as the Jewish Outreach Director for Southeastern Pennsylvania, organizing dozens of events across the region. Since then, Dan has managed or consulted for over a dozen races, including citywide races in Philadelphia, legislative seats in New Jersey, Senate races in Pennsylvania and Assembly seats in New York. Dan holds a BA in International Relations from the University of Rochester, and is a Fellow of the New Leaders Council – Philadelphia. A native Philadelphian, Dan currently resides in South Philly.
