Elle Segal joins J Street after working for several years in grassroots organizing, advocacy, partnership development and Jewish communal outreach. Previously, Elle worked for the JCRC of the Bay Area and the University of California. At the JCRC, Elle managed relationships with nonprofit, labor, interfaith and civic leaders, as well as state and local elected officials. She also helped manage programming with the Jerusalem Youth Chorus, Debate for Peace and other people-to-people peacebuilding programs. At the University of California, Elle developed and managed the inaugural UC National Public Service Law Conference, which focused on modern civil rights challenges.
Elle served on the Board of NCJW San Francisco and was also an active leader in Women for Biden, including managing grassroots trainings for hundreds of volunteers. She earned her Bachelor of the Arts in psychology from UC Davis and her Master of Public Affairs from the University of San Francisco, where she received her cohort’s Student Leadership Award.
