Northwest Regional Director

Hannah grew up in Jerusalem, in a house bordering on the 1949 Armistice border. She completed her Israeli military service as an instructor in the tank corps in the midst of the Al-Aqsa intifada. Later, during her years as a student at the Hebrew University, she became a peace activist and deeply committed to working on the conflict.

Hannah joins J Street after nearly a decade of working in human rights and peace organizations in Israel. She holds a masters degree in Conflict Resolution from the Hebrew University, where she focused on Israeli media representations of the conflict. She continued to work on this issue as a researcher and then manager at Keshev, the center for protection of democracy in Israel. Hannah also trained as a dialogue facilitator and worked with Jewish and Palestinian Israeli youth at Givat Haviva.

During her last four years in Israel, Hannah worked as an International Relations Officer at B’Tselem, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories. She managed B’Tselem’s relationships with a variety of foundations, organizations, governments and UN agencies operating in the territories. Hannah is eager to continue her work at J Street, promoting a brighter future for Israel and the Palestinians.
