Kenny comes to J Street after a successful legal career including 6 years as a Public Defender in Newark, NJ followed by years as a civil litigator.  His volunteer service has included work as an EMT with a volunteer ambulance corps, working on political campaigns with BlueWaveNJ, a progressive grass roots organization, sitting on the board of MindLeaps, an NGO serving “street kids” in post conflict countries, and currently as President of Temple Ner Tamid, a 500 member Reform Synagogue in NJ.  For fun, Kenny plays guitar and performs at open mics, is an avid tennis player and was a snowboard instructor for adults and teens with disabilities.  He lives in NJ with his wife Jodi.
