New England Deputy Regional Director

Yael brings over a decade of experience in digital strategy, communications, and community engagement. Originally from the North Shore of Massachusetts, Yael studied Islamic & Middle East Studies and Near Eastern & Judaic Studies at Brandeis University, where she participated in Jewish-Arab Dialogue and the Al-Quds Partnership program. 

Prior to joining J Street, Yael worked for Jewish organizations including Hillel at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Tufts Hillel, and JCC Greater Boston. She received her M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communication from Emerson College in 2014 and has worked in digital communications for various political and progressive causes, including Sam Hammar for State Senate, Run En Masse, Decode Democracy, and the 2020 Massachusetts Ranked Choice Voting ballot campaign.
