Zena Hinds

Mid-Atlantic Assistant Regional Director

Zena comes to J Street from Tectonic Theater Project (the company behind “The Laramie Project,” one of the most frequently performed plays in America) where she served as Director of Development. Since earning her BFA in theater from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, she has been dedicated to supporting companies working at the intersection of the arts and social justice, including Tectonic, Opening Act and STEM From Dance. She is a founding member of Persist Brooklyn, a grassroots volunteer organization, where she began to pursue her political interests in earnest. She is looking forward to learning from and working with the dedicated staff and community members of J Street.
