Matthew Duss, president of the Foundation for Middle East Peace, joined us for an online discussion on Operation Protective Edge and the situation in Gaza. We discussed the current operation, prospects for a cease-fire and then looked ahead at what might come next for Israel and Palestine: Is there any path to peace? Can a just and secure future for Israelis and Palestinians be salvaged from the current crisis? What can be done in the US to promote a lasting peace for the region?
