We are happy to announce that this year we will be hosting an in-person Advocacy Day that will take place Tuesday, December 6 on Capitol Hill, in Washington, DC from 9:00am – 4:00pm. (Individual schedules will vary.) This will be our first opportunity to come together in person on the Hill in three years. With these meetings taking place right after the midterm elections, we will have the opportunity to engage Members of the 118th Congress and give them a preview of our priorities for the next session. If you would like to attend Advocacy Day on Tuesday, December 6, you must sign up (at no additional charge) when registering for the Conference.
*It is important to note that Advocacy Day will not be available to virtual conference participants. *

Luggage Storage Information

Luggage storage will be available for those who wish to participate in Advocacy day at a location near Capitol Hill and Congressional offices. More information will be provided to advocacy day participants via email.

No other food is provided as part of the ticket.
There will be coffee, snack and other food kiosks at the Omni Shoreham outside session rooms, where attendees are welcome to purchase food and beverages. Kosher sandwich options will be available. A guide for guests to nearby restaurants will be provided at the conference.

Kosher Meals

Kosher sandwiches will be available at the lunch kiosks and food truck and kosher food is available at the J Street Gala Dinner, on request.
The Kosher restaurants in downtown Washington are Char Bar (by Washington Circle) and Soupergirl (West End and Dupont Circle).

Virtual Conference Experience

What conference content is available for virtual participants?

All plenaries, including opening night and gala, will be livestreamed. There will be several breakout sessions that are designated as virtual or hybrid sessions. And the virtual conference platform will allow attendees to message one another, post on a public forum, and visit the virtual exhibitor hall.

How do attendees access conference content?

The virtual Conference will all take place via our conference platform, Pathable. Approximately a week prior to the conference, attendees will receive instructions and a link to login into the web-based platform. A mobile app is also available. All sessions will be accessible via the platform. Plenaries will be live-streamed and breakout sessions will be conducted via Zoom (Zoom links are found in the platform).

What is the difference between hybrid and virtual sessions?

Attendees will access these sessions in the same way: through the conference platform which will obtain an embedded Zoom link. The difference lies in how the panelists (not the attendees) will participate in the session. In virtual sessions, panelists will all join from different locations and their own devices. In hybrid sessions, all panelists will be in the same room and the feed will be streamed to all attendees.

Can in-person attendees access virtual sessions?

Yes. For hybrid sessions, there will be a live audience just like an in-person session. For virtual sessions, there will be a viewing room at the Conference for in-person attendees to access virtual sessions.

Will sessions be available to be viewed after?

All virtual and hybrid sessions, including the plenaries, will be available to be viewed after the conference has officially concluded.
