Living Our Values, Defending Democracy
December 3-6, 2022 | Washington, DC + Virtual

Health and Safety Information:
Only fully-vaccinated individuals can attend the Conference in person in Washington DC and proof of vaccination will be required at check-in. We will also offer virtual Conference components for those who will not be vaccinated or those who do not feel comfortable in an in-person environment. J Street will be following CDC guidelines in developing our Conference safety protocols and may revise its policies and protocols as events transpire and guidance evolves. Health and safety is our number one priority. If we are unable to gather in person, the Conference will be conducted virtually. We strongly encourage all Conference attendees to wear a mask when you are not actively eating or drinking. Masking is encouraged for the safety of our community. Why you should attend J Street’s 2022 National Conference

J Street is excited to be back in person for our National Conference, the year’s largest gathering of pro-peace activists – and one of the most important, talked-about annual events in the worlds of foreign policy and progressive politics.

Join hundreds of other students from across the country as we stand up for our democratic values. Students receive $36 tickets, travel and housing stipends, and exclusive student-only programming.

More programming information will be available in the coming weeks, but will include student-only sessions and special guests such as Jess Salomon and Eman El-Husseini — otherwise known as The El-Salomons!

Travel & Stipend Information

All current undergraduate students are welcome to apply for stipends to subsidize their travel to the Conference. When registering, you will be asked about your travel plans; a J Street staff member will be in touch with you soon to let you know the stipend amount and how to be reimbursed for your travel expenses. Plane and bus travel are eligible for reimbursement.

The full stipend amount will depend on the cost of travel and starting location. No student will need to pay more than $105 out of pocket to attend. Only current undergraduate students are eligible for travel stipends.

The first 300 students to register for the Conference will have all out-of-pocket expenses capped at $50.

Discounted Housing Information for Students

When registering for the Conference, please indicate if you would like to book housing for one or more nights during the Conference. J Street will book your accommodations and let you know your housing information approximately one week prior to the Conference.

Note: those booking travel through J Street will be randomly assigned roommates.
