With Israel preparing to enter its eighth decade starting in 2018, we’re launching a new series called Solutions@70: Innovative Approaches Toward Two States. Over the next six months, we’re going to bring you calls and live video discussions with some of the Israeli and Palestinian experts and innovators currently working on creative, concrete solutions that can improve lives and move us closer to peace.

This month, for our first Solutions@70 call, we’ll be joined by Yehuda Greenfield-Gilat, a ground-breaking Israeli architect and planner who has served as an adviser to MK Tzipi Livni and Israel’s president Reuven Rivlin. Greenfield-Gilat is developing urban design and architectural strategies to help facilitate a secure and prosperous shared Jerusalem under a future two-state agreement.

Our conversation with him, which will include an opportunity for the audience to submit questions, will be moderated by J Street’s Israel director Yael Patir. It will take place via Google Hangout at 1pm EDT on Thursday, June 15.

Note: Hangouts are extremely simple to join — you don’t need any special accounts or software. Just click the YouTube link we’ll send before the call and you’ll be brought directly to the live video.
