J Street is appalled by the murder of Israeli soldier and student Dvir Sorek, who was stabbed in a terror attack today while traveling to his home in the West Bank settlement of Ofra. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones in this time of mourning and grief.
There can be no justification for this attack. As Israeli security forces search for the killers, we urge Israeli and Palestinian leaders to take steps to avoid escalation and prevent an outbreak of further violence.
