J Street Urges Restraint Following Clash at Qalandiyah

We were saddened to learn of the deaths of three Palestinians in clashes with Israeli Border Police at Qalandiyah refugee camp earlier today.

We urge both sides to show maximum restraint. This is a pivotal time for both peoples, as Israeli and Palestinian officials prepare to meet for their next round of peace negotiations. No doubt there will be potential disruptions and distractions along the way, but Israeli and Palestinian leaders must not allow them to derail their efforts to resolve their conflict through the achievement of a two-state solution.
