J Street applauds Israeli scientist Ada Yonath for her well-deserved Nobel Prize. We are extraordinarily proud to see Israel and its citizens represented at the highest global levels of culture, art, and science. Israel’s world-class academics, science, and cultural expression are rightly a source of pride for Jewish people everywhere. Ada Yonath, the ninth Israeli to receive a Nobel Prize, is further testimony to the state Israel’s founders have created in just 61 short years. May scores more Nobel Prize recipients hail from a safe, secure State of Israel.
