Vice President Joe Biden will headline J Street’s annual gala, marking the second time the Vice President has addressed a national gathering of the pro-Israel, pro-peace organization.

The gala dinner on Monday, April 18th at 7:30pm will bring together over nine hundred pro-Israel, pro-peace supporters at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center to honor three longtime champions, Ambassador Samuel L. Kaplan, Ambassador Louis B. Susman and Ambassador Alan D. Solomont, for their lifelong commitment to international peace and security and to US-Israel relations. Special Guest, Member of Knesset Stav Shaffir, will also offer remarks.

Media coverage by credentialed press is welcome; pre-registration is required. Credentials will be guaranteed on-site for only those journalists holding White House, Congressional, State Department or Foreign Press Center credentials. Further logistics and coverage details are forthcoming.

The gala is the capstone of J Street’s National Assembly in Washington, which brings together the organization’s leaders from across the country for a series of closed door strategic planning and advocacy meetings. The Assembly’s opening night program — Pundits, Pollsters and Politicos: How Will Israel Play in the 2016 Election — on Sunday, April 17th at 6:30pm at 6th and I Historic Synagogue is open to the press and public.
