Recently, President Trump violated the Iran deal, shattering America’s international credibility and potentially sending us down the path to another disastrous war in the Middle East.

Last week, with Israeli-Palestinian tensions at a boiling point, he moved the US embassy to Jerusalem. The world watched American and Israeli officials celebrate while, miles away, over fifty Palestinians were killed and thousands more were injured on the Gaza border.

This has been a difficult moment for those of us who believe American leadership can and should be used to make this world a better place.

The question is, what will we do about it? 

On Thursday, May 17, we spoke with experts and activists about what we can do in the following days, weeks and months to retake the reins of America’s foreign policy and fight for a better future for Israelis, Palestinians and peoples throughout the Middle East.

Today:

Sign our petition urging Congress to act to restrain President Trump from further undermining the security of the United States, Israel and the world — or leading us to a war of choice — as a result of his reckless decision to violate and abandon the nuclear agreement with Iran.

Tomorrow:

Thirteen senators just signed a letter urging the State Department to take specific steps to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The signers were: Senators Bernie Sanders (author), Dianne Feinstein, Patrick Leahy, Thomas Carper, Sherrod Brown, Chris Van Hollen, Elizabeth Warren, Martin Heinrich, Jeff Merkley, Tom Udall, Sheldon Whitehouse, Jack Reed and Edward Markey.
