What to Expect
This year, J Street Georgia is proud to honor Scott Rafshoon, former Chair of the J Street Georgia Steering Committee and a longtime leader in the Atlanta Jewish community. Through his steadfast commitment to democracy, diplomacy, and a secure, democratic future for Israel alongside a viable Palestinian state, Scott has helped grow J Street’s impact in Georgia while inspiring others to engage in our movement.
As we recognize Scott’s leadership, we will also celebrate the strength and continued growth of the J Street Georgia community as an important part of Atlanta’s rich and vibrant Jewish landscape. Together, we will reaffirm our shared commitment to protecting democracy in both the United States and Israel and to advancing the values that unite our community.

An Atlanta native, Scott and his wife, Ellen, raised two sons in the City where they are active members of The Temple.
Jeremy Ben-Ami
Jeremy Ben-Ami is the President of J Street, bringing to the role both deep experience in American politics and government and a passionate commitment to the state of Israel.
Ilan Goldenberg
Ilan Goldenberg is a seasoned foreign policy and national security expert with two decades of experience advising American leaders on the Middle East, US-Israel relations, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and Iran.
Tamar Ariel
Tamar returns to J Street as Director for Capital, South, Mountain West, bringing over a decade of experience in advocacy, client and donor engagement, and business management.

The J Street Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization. The total cost of goods and services for each ticket is $75. Tickets may not be purchased using donor-advised fund (DAF) grants, as IRS regulations prohibit DAF distributions where the donor receives goods or services in return. DAF supporters who wish to contribute are welcome to purchase a ticket using personal funds or make a general donation instead.
