J Street U is working to create space within Jewish communal institutions for our progressive values. Working on campus with Hillel and within synagogues, federations, and other Jewish institutions, students ensure that J Street U has deep, meaningful, and actionable relationships with the organized Jewish community.

Students are among the most important public-facing messengers J Street has. Across traditional, digital, and social media, in print, video, and in person, student leaders shape the stories our movement shares. With coordination and training from staff, J Street U leaders become seasoned, effective, and strategic communicators. 

From large and active chapters to emerging campus coalitions and virtual spaces, J Street U students are invested in the work of educating their campuses, organizing their peers, and building connection among likeminded students. Our movement helps students grow as organizers and build partnerships for action that transform their communities.
