Yakir Hirsch

Yakir Hirsch is a junior at Binghamton University majoring in political science, with a concentration in legal studies. Originally from Bergen County, New Jersey, he now lives in Riverdale, New York, when he isn’t at school. Growing up with two parents who are teachers, he was taught the importance of education and open dialogue from a young age, which is a large part of what motivated him to start a J Street U chapter at Binghamton. Outside of school and work, he loves to watch basketball, spend time with friends, and visit national parks.
