J Street Announces $3 Million Super PAC Fund to Support Pro-Israel, Pro-Peace, Pro-Democracy Candidates in 2026 Midterms

Largest independent expenditure effort to date will target competitive House and Senate races

February 9, 2026

Today, J Street announced it has raised $3 million for its J Street Action Fund (JSAF) to support pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy candidates in competitive House and Senate races during the 2026 election cycle. This represents the organization’s largest independent expenditure effort to date, and will be executed in partnership with Senate Majority PAC and House Majority PAC.

J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami released the following statement:

“I am proud to announce the launch of the 2026 J Street Action Fund to support pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro democracy champions in the upcoming midterms.

We’re focusing all our fire on defeating the MAGA agenda this cycle. The Trump administration and its Republican allies in Congress continue to support Netanyahu’s callousness in Gaza unquestioningly and his warmongering with Iran. These extremists in both Israel and the U.S. are bad for America, Israel and the safety of the Jewish people.

Through this super PAC, we will be targeting a select number of extremist members in general elections, many of whom tout their unconditional support for Israel while promoting antisemitic rhetoric and advancing agendas that undermine American democracy.

While some organizations claiming to be pro-Israel spend money to take down pro-Israel moderates in Democratic primaries, J Street remains solely focused on ensuring the election of members who will support a pro-peace agenda.”
