On the eve of the national election, JStreetPAC – the political fundraising arm of the pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy advocacy group J Street – announced it has raised nearly $15 million this cycle. The total includes over $6 million for the Harris-Walz campaign – the largest by far raised by any Jewish organization for the presidential ticket – and more than $8.5 million for 180 House and Senate incumbents and challengers.
“The overwhelming majority of Jewish Americans recognize the threat Trump poses to our community, our values and our country. They also know the transformative promise Harris offers with a new generation of leadership for the future,” J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami said. “Kamala Harris and her team have run one hell of a campaign, and we’re tremendously proud to be standing with her. We know the fight will continue past Election Day to ensure every last vote is counted and to push back against Trump’s inevitable efforts to sow doubt over the results.”
JStreetPAC’s record-breaking fundraising numbers include massive support for frontline Senators Bob Casey in Pennsylvania, Sherrod Brown in Ohio, Tammy Baldwin in Wisconsin and Jon Tester in Montana. JStreetPAC is one of the largest supporters of Rep. Colin Allred’s campaign against Senator Ted Cruz in Texas.
“Our supporters have shattered fundraising records. There’s just so much enthusiasm for Harris and a chance to turn the page. Trump and his team have tried to rally Jewish support using Israel as a wedge and have totally failed,” National Political Director Tali deGroot said. “This has been a challenging cycle on our issue, but leaders who’ve held firm to their values and stood up for the security and humanity of Palestinians and Israelis alike have earned broad support. Embracing nuance and supporting a better future for all people makes for good policy and good politics.”
Across the country, J Street staff have been embedded with campaigns in high-stakes races. Volunteers continue to knock on doors and make calls to turn out every last vote. Pro-choice voter mobilization ads by the J Street Action Fund have reached more than 500,000 target voters. J Street’s student arm, J Street U, has been organizing on campuses and supporting GOTV efforts nationwide. “We’re firing on all cylinders and using every last tool at our disposal to win this,” deGroot said.
While J Street has trumpeted its endorsement of the Harris campaign and raised millions to defeat Trump and protect American democracy, AIPAC has declined to endorse at the presidential level and raised millions for over 100 MAGA Republicans who voted to overturn the 2020 election results. That list includes numerous leaders who champion Donald Trump and amplify dangerous conspiracy theories and antisemitic rhetoric – from Representative Elise Stefanik to Senators Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley.
