Washington, DC – J Street Action Fund, the independent expenditure arm of the leading pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy group J Street, today launched its first general election ad of the 2026 cycle.
The nearly half-million-dollar campaign focuses on Republican Rep. Mike Collins’ extensive ties to white nationalists through his staff and son-in-law. Rep. Collins is challenging J Street champion Sen. Jon Ossoff in the Georgia Senate race.

“Georgia has a clear choice: Sen. Jon Ossoff, who has fought for peace, democracy and the safety of every community, or Mike Collins, who has unabashed white nationalists on his staff and in his circles. Mike Collins has shown exactly who he is, and he poses a direct threat to our democracy, the Jewish community and the safety of all minority groups,” said J Street's Vice President of Political and Digital Strategy, Tali deGroot. “J Street is proud to be fighting to defeat him and reelect Sen. Jon Ossoff, a true champion for peace.”
Mike Collins has a pattern of close associations with neo-Nazis and white nationalists, including Nick Fuentes and Richard Spencer, as well as members of his own staff. One former Collins staffer has posted images of a swastika, images of himself wearing a Ku Klux Klan robe and white supremacist slogans. Another former Collins staffer shouted antisemitic insults at a member of Congress. Collins’ son-in-law, who shares an address with him, has also repeatedly promoted white nationalist and antisemitic rhetoric online. Last week, The Daily Beast reported that at least two leaders appointed by the Collins campaign have ties to a far-right group founded by a former Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi leader.
Collins himself has made posts on social media reinforcing antisemitic stereotypes and praising the racist harassment of a Black woman on a college campus. Despite this history, AIPAC maintained its endorsement of Collins in the House, has not spoken out about his multiple ties to white nationalists and antisemites and continues to promote him on its website.
Collins also denies the results of the 2020 election and believes the US government should pay reparations to insurrectionists who were convicted for their participation in the January 6 riot at the Capitol. Aside from these issues, Collins is the subject of a House Ethics Committee investigation that should be disqualifying on its own.
Sen. Jon Ossoff, who is Jewish, has been a leading advocate for peace and safety for Israelis and Palestinians, and a vocal opponent of the corruption and anti-democratic efforts of the Trump Administration. The J Street Action Fund is proud to work toward Sen. Ossoff’s reelection and to ensure he can continue his work toward a pro-peace, pro-democracy future.
The J Street Action Fund was created in 2022 to help counter harmful right-wing efforts to use Republican billionaire money to drive a wedge in Democratic primaries. JSAF is part of the organization’s larger effort to demonstrate that candidates who adopt principled positions on Israel/Palestine that line up with the views of the majority of American Jews can expect significant support.
