Washington, DC – J Street today announced that it has endorsed more than 200 candidates for federal office this cycle, the most in the organization’s history, which reflects the rapidly shifting dynamics on Capitol Hill on Israel-Palestine. At the same time, the J Street Action Fund, J Street’s Super PAC, launched digital ad campaigns in Iowa’s 1st and Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional Districts, two races that could decide control of the House.
Watch both ads here: PA-7, IA-1.
J Street’s 2026 endorsees include 74% of the Senate Democratic caucus, 57% of House Democrats, and candidates in 50% of all competitive House and Senate races on the Cook Political Report map. The organization is on track to raise $13 million politically – surpassing their 2022 midterm total raise by more than $4 million. J Street now endorses more Democratic candidates than any other PAC focused on Israel and Palestine.
Today’s ads target AIPAC-endorsed Republican incumbents Rep. Marionette Miller-Meeks in IA-01 and Rep. Ryan Mackenzie in PA-07. The buys complete the J Street Action Fund’s $3 million campaign this cycle, which included ads in Georgia against Rep. Mike Collins over his ties to white nationalists, and ads with House Majority PAC targeting AIPAC endorsees Rep. Derrick Van Orden in WI-3 and Rep. Ryan Mackenzie in PA-7. It is the first time J Street’s Super PAC has directly challenged AIPAC-backed candidates in a general election.
“J Street is running through the tape,” said Tali deGroot, Vice President of Political and Digital Strategy at J Street. “This cycle we raised more money than ever before in a midterm, ran the largest Super PAC campaign in our history, and endorsed a record number of candidates. When the next Congress is sworn in, no organization working on Israel and Palestine will have more credibility or more allies on Capitol Hill.”
“AIPAC continues to use fear and intimidation to push candidates toward unconditional support for whatever Israel’s government does. That approach has failed Israelis, Palestinians, and Americans alike. J Street is proud to be going on the offense against AIPAC-backed anti-democracy candidates to secure a pro-Israel, pro-peace, and pro-democracy majority on November 3rd. ”
