Phyllis Snyder

J Street Board Member

Phyllis Snyder leads the Philadelphia chapter of J Street and served as co-chair of the Regional Advisory Committee for three years.  She worked for over forty years for nonprofits focused on linking learning and work to help adults succeed in the workforce, most recently as Vice President of CAEL (Council for Adult and Experiential Learning).  A long time member of Main Line Reform Temple Beth Elohim, she served as an officer and board member.

Phyllis is a graduate of Smith College and holds masters degrees from Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Merion, PA with her husband Peter, an endocrinologist at the University of Pennsylvania. They have two daughters and three grandchildren.
