Adam Steinberg

Northwest Regional Director

Adam returns to J Street with over six years of direct experience working towards resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Most recently, Adam lived in Beer Sheva, Israel where he served as Development Associate and Interim Director of Development at Hagar: Jewish-Arab Education for Equality. There, Adam oversaw fundraising for an integrated, bilingual network of schools in Israel’s southern region that promoted shared society for Jewish and Arab residents.  Prior to moving to Israel, he served as J Street’s Northeast Regional Organizer, based in Boston. Adam first joined J Street in 2010 as Young Professionals Network Chair for the Boston chapter.

In addition to his time with J Street, Adam brings other experience and expertise in organizing and advocacy. In 2010, he studied as an Organizing Fellow with JOIN for Justice in Boston. Prior to joining the staff of J Street, he served as an organizer for community-based initiatives in the Boston area, including on issues of housing and domestic-violence prevention. He received his Bachelors of Science in Development Sociology from Cornell University in 2009 and served as an AmeriCorps volunteer upon graduation. Currently, Adam is attending New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and is a candidate for a Masters in Public Administration.
