Hailing from Miami, Florida, Bela joined J Street after graduating from Florida International University, with a BA in International Relations, a minor in Sociology & Anthropology, a certificate in Latin American & Caribbean Studies, and a certificate in Labor Studies. Prior to joining J Street, Bela completed internships at the Jewish Democratic Council of America, the American Foreign Policy Council, Olami, and had spent 4 years as the Senior Policy Developer at MyVote Project. As a Hispanic Jew, Bela speaks fluent Spanish and can dabble in Portuguese!
