Charles joins J Street after graduating from the University of Chicago with a double major in economics and political science. While in college, he interned on Grace Meng’s first congressional campaign. Later, he was a policy research intern at ExpandED Schools, an education advocacy organization, where he did deep dives on regulations affecting after-school programs.

Since graduating he has conducted research for the Workforce Professionals Training Institute on the minimum wage and the state of workforce development in New York City. Most recently he worked as a Financial Analyst for a small manufacturing firm in Queens. He has traveled to Israel several times and has been an active member of the Jewish community his whole life. Charles resides in New York City, where he was born and raised.
