Director of Public Affairs
Cooper joins the Public Affairs Team after six years in a variety of roles at J Street. He previously served as Associate Director for Congressional Education, managing J Street’s Congressional travel to Israel and the West Bank. Prior to that, he spent four years working in J Street’s New England office, where he helped double the region’s operating fundraising and tripled political fundraising. He graduated from Brandeis University in 2016, majoring in Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies and Politics, during which time he was heavily involved in J Street U. He spent a year in Israel after high school with Habonim Dror.
