Gabi Meisel joins J Street following her time with the Yahel Social Change Fellowship in Israel, a transformative experience that was unexpectedly cut short by the events of October 7th. Originally from Chevy Chase, Maryland, Gabi is a longtime member of Temple Sinai and a graduate of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.

She earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies and Anthropology from Bates College, where she was a dedicated member of the varsity swim team and an active advocate for gun safety across the state of Maine.

Gabi brings to J Street a deep commitment to social justice, a background in grassroots engagement, and a strong belief in the power of diplomacy and dialogue. She is excited to contribute to J Street’s mission of advancing peaceful, negotiated solutions in the Middle East with energy, empathy, and determination.
