HR Assistant

Katie Schantz is excited to be joining J Street as the HR Assistant. Originally from Gainesville, FL, she graduated from Florida State University in 2023 with a B.S. in Psychology. Following her graduation, she spent time working as a Digital Advertising Specialist for Event Tickets Center, and then transitioned to a managerial role in corporate retail shortly after moving to Washington, DC in December of 2025. She now finds herself in a role that aligns with her undergraduate studies and passion for helping others. Outside of work, Katie loves making new friends, spending time outside, and enjoying live music.
