Lucas joined the J Street U team following a year with the Avodah Jewish Service Corps, during which he served as a community organizer with Jews United for Justice. He studied international development at Tulane University, and has developed a passion for community building through his experience with Jewish summer camps, local election field teams, and small-scale urban farms.
