Deputy Regional Director for Southern California

Nicole Malina was thrilled to join the J Street Southern California team as Deputy Regional Director in 2019. Originally from New York, Nicole has worked in development and nonprofit administration in California for over fifteen years, holding capacity-building roles in diverse communal institutions and in support of various progressive causes. These include serving as Director of Development for the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach and overseeing a major donor program at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Nicole is a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Long Beach and has served on the boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Long Beach and Long Beach Hillel. She is also a recipient of the Neuburger Award for Young Leaders. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering with shelter animals, and collecting vinyl records. She holds a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from the Gallatin School at NYU.
