J Street congratulates the eight members of our Rabbinic Cabinet included in Newsweek‘s 2011 list of the “50 Most Influential Rabbis in America.” According to Newsweek, “the rabbis on this list personify the most important roles in Jewish leaders—as selfless listeners, teachers, connectors, and galvanizers.” We applaud this well-deserved recognition of Rabbis Sharon Brous, Art Green, Jill Jacobs, Rick Jacobs, Sharon Kleinbaum, Rolando Matalon, Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, and Burt Visotzky. We also extend a mazel tov to the Religious Action Center’s Rabbi David Saperstein, a keynote speaker at J Street’s national conference, and Rabbi Ed Feinstein, who recently hosted an open and constructive conversation with J Street at his Los Angeles synagogue.
