J Street is deeply saddened by the tragic news emerging from Morocco following the devastating and deadly earthquake, the most powerful in the region in over a century. We commend the tireless work of local relief workers and volunteers, and international efforts to provide urgently needed support and aid, including offers of assistance from both the United States and Israel. Our thoughts are with the thousands of families who have lost loved ones, and with the countless others affected by the disaster.
