J Street’s Vice President for Policy and Strategy Hadar Susskind issued the following statement marking the 15th Anniversary of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination:
“Today, J Street marks the 15th Anniversary of former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin’s assassination with solemn and heavy hearts. “We are reminded of the courage of an Israeli leader who spent his life defending his state and gave his life for a vision of Israel and the Palestinians living side-by-side in peace and security. “Today, our spirits are buoyed by his legacy, and our efforts to achieve a two-state solution will be redoubled. “We encourage American, Israeli, and Palestinian leaders to call upon Yitzhak Rabin’s legacy as they pursue a two-state solution with a seriousness of purpose matching the urgency of the moment.”
